English version – Guest Terms and Conditions – La Perla Dream Escape

These terms and conditions apply to reservations made via La Perla – Dream Escape.

2. Your contract
La Perla Dream Escape acts as a marketing and booking agent for the property owners whose homes are listed on our platform. By making a reservation, the lead guest accepts these terms and conditions on behalf of all travel companions.
3. Booking and payment
- A deposit of 10% of the rental amount is required upon reservation (unless stated otherwise).
- The balance must be paid no later than 28 days prior to arrival.
- For last-minute bookings (within 28 days before arrival), full payment is required immediately.
- Payments can be made by credit card (Visa/Mastercard), debit card, or bank transfer. Any fees for international transfers or PayPal are the responsibility of the guest.
4. Cancellation policy
- More than 29 days before arrival → 10% cancellation fee (deposit).
- 28 days or less before arrival → 100% of the rental amount.
- Bank and card charges are non-refundable.
- In case of force majeure (e.g., pandemic, natural disaster, official travel restrictions), La Perla will offer a voucher or an alternative stay period.
5. Changes
Changes are possible if the property is available:
- Date changes: free of charge up to 4 weeks before arrival; within 4 weeks subject to availability and possible surcharge.
- Number of guests: increases only allowed within the property’s maximum capacity and after confirmation. Reductions do not entitle the guest to a refund.
6. Security deposit
- A security deposit of €300–€500 is required, depending on the property.
- The deposit will be refunded within 14 days after departure, provided there is no damage, extra cleaning required, or unpaid costs.
- The deposit may be partially or fully withheld in the event of:
- Damage to furniture, appliances, or the property
- Excessive use of electricity/water
- Exceeding the maximum number of guests
- Leaving the property excessively dirty
- Breach of house rules (e.g., smoking indoors, late check-out)
7. House rules and cleaning
- The property must be left in a tidy condition: dishes done, rubbish removed, fridge emptied, barbecue & oven cleaned.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property.
- Pets are only allowed with prior approval.
- An additional cleaning fee may be charged if the property is left in poor condition.
8. Check-in / Check-out
- Check-in: from 16:00
- Check-out: no later than 10:00
Changes only possible upon prior agreement.
9. Liability
- La Perla Dream Escape is not liable for interruptions of utilities (water, electricity, internet) or disturbances caused by neighbours or construction work.
- Guests remain responsible for their own safety and belongings.
10. Complaints and disputes
- Any problems or defects must be reported immediately upon arrival.
- In Spain, rental agencies are legally required to provide a Hoja de Reclamaciones (official complaint form). This is available on request.
- Complaints not reported during the stay cannot be considered afterwards.
11. Privacy
We process personal data strictly in accordance with the European GDPR (EU 2016/679) and the Spanish LOPDGDD (2018). Data is only used to fulfil the rental agreement and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where legally required (e.g., reporting to Guardia Civil).
12. Applicable law
This agreement is governed by Spanish law. For disputes, only the courts of Murcia shall have jurisdiction.
13. Validity
These terms apply to all reservations via La Perla Dream Escape from 23 August 2025, subject to typographical errors.
